Scaling Access to Just Green Transition
MFAP Limited is a social enterprise that supports smallholder farmers in East Africa to access green/climate-smart production, postharvest handling and value-addition solutions. We work with smallholder farmers in rural and peri-urban regions to bridge the gap between research and application, enabling our endusers to optimize productivity, minimize loss and earn higher for their produce.
Sub-Saharan Africa faces unique challenges in the production and utilization of food resources. Many smallholder farmers lack access to resources to enable them to cushion their livelihoods against climate change exposure. We strive to leverage simple, cheaper and data-supported adaptation solutions to help smallholder farmers thrive sustainably

Our Purpose
Supporting just transitions towards green and sustainable agriculture
Climate change has made traditional farming practices less viable for smallholder farmers. To most of these farmers, time is quickly running out to ensure they remain sustainable.
MFAP seeks to support smallholder farmers in East Africa to attain just transition to green agricultural systems by scaling access to adaptative and mitigative agri-production, post-harvest handling and value addition solutions. We do this by having high flexibility in our payment models to ensure the most needy is not prohibited by high initial cost of acquisition.
